Jobs ??????

Q) Does anyone know of any jobs in Nottingham. I am 15 and turn 16 next month and I am looking for a job (part-time) monday-friday. If anyone knows anywhere could you please let me know. Thanks very much =)

A) Hi sorry I am from Belfast. I would suggest you go round all your local shops such as fruit shops, newsagents, hair dressers etc and ask they would have any part-time weekend jobs you can help out with. The best job I would consider is your local cafe as they always need extra staff! good luck :)

what jobs are the immigrants doing that no British person would do?

Q) every other posting i read about immigration says we need more to do the jobs the british person would refuse to do, there are nine employment agencies were i live, ive registed with all of then, [no reply] but all the new immigrants [and there are alot] seem to be working for the agencies, even the job centre admits over 80% of the jobs they advitise are agency jobs,so if there not gonna employ me becuase im english and the job centre dont have any jobs, [ must be all of the jobs the british dont want to do] , more of a case of im all right jack, cant see the problem [till its youre job]

A) This "Immigrants are doing jobs Brits don't want" garbage is just the trash spoken by deeply ignorant, priviledged people who earn 60k a year and assume that no British person would "want" to a be waiter or a bus driver or a cleaner, or a barman etc. Many British people do these jobs because they have no choice! There aren't enough well paid jobs for us all to have one. Even many graduates end up in call centres these days. Immigrants competing for these basic jobs are making it even harder to find work and so people are staying on benefits because they can't find a job that will pay enough to cover their rent, bills, food etc. But the priviledged like to spout this claptrap because it enables them to look down on their countrymen and feel better about themselves.

what jobs are the immigrants doing that no British person would do?

Q) every other posting i read about immigration says we need more to do the jobs the british person would refuse to do, there are nine employment agencies were i live, ive registed with all of then, [no reply] but all the new immigrants [and there are alot] seem to be working for the agencies, even the job centre admits over 80% of the jobs they advitise are agency jobs,so if there not gonna employ me becuase im english and the job centre dont have any jobs, [ must be all of the jobs the british dont want to do] , more of a case of im all right jack, cant see the problem [till its youre job] kes51 ive worked in a hotel as a kp for two years my girlfreind cleaned hostpitals, now she nearly finished her student nurse qualification, and im back in the uk from southafrica trying to earn money to complete my commercial pilots licence, ok the immigrants may work hard, so do I ,

A) People will hire immigrants because they know immigrants will work hard for little pay and THATS what british people (and Americans) aren't willing to do. Immigrants are not literally stealing jobs like ppl say, they dont go into a place and tell the employees "get out of here i'm taking your job" its the employer! I know of alot of immigrants here living in tiny apartments or shared rooms, and having to pay with the little money they get from washing dishes, bussing tables or cleaning. They use little money to live on and people think they're living here like kings? Give me a break! People should get to know a family of immigrants, watch how hard they work and how little they have yet theyre surviving before they go judge and want to throw them out of the country. Immigrants work harder and longer hours than the employees in McDonalds on a $100 less than minimum wage paycheck, WHO HERE IS WILLING TO DO THAT? and they dont even complain about the wages theyre happy to just work, but no one treats them fairly. My friend who is an immigrant works at a pizzeria and he tells me how his co-worker get hit and yelled at by the boss. The boss burned a guy with hot spatula and he kicked him in the leg, the guy had pain in his leg for a week but he wasnt aloud to get any days off. I wish i was making this up, but its true and i've heard more and worst stories.

Jobs that are like tesco, sainsbury , morrison, are they called manual jobs, done hand work?

Q) there was a question an hour ago ,saying how tesco staff wished they worked harder, as its a manual job, I first time realised , that its true these jobs are manual, arent there, so which jobs arent manual , and what job is easy to do , working in a office

A) Working in an office isn't a manaul job and working in an office is not necessarily an easy job - They have to work out how to make money and what strategy to use and how to plan - which is not that easy - a lot of brain power is needed as problems can be very complex.

jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs???

Q) I've just turned 14. I want a part-time saturday job. I just want something like working in a shop, but I'm not sure how old I have to be to do things like that. I basically want all the information I can get about jobs in London for children.

A) I presume you live in the UK? Go to a charity shop and ask there. Oxfam British Heart Foundation Cancer Research UK Barnados Scope I can't promise they'll say yes but it's got to be worth a try. Not only is it great fun, it looks good on your CV (for future employment) and you can make friends -- plus some give you discounts on purchases made in their shops.

Jobs in statistics?

Q) I am applying for jobs involving numbers/figure work/statistics. Can you tell me which job sites on the internet are most likely to hold these type of vacancies? Similarly, which newspapers/magazines/journals are most likely to have vacancies along this nature of work? Finally, apart from the job title of a statistician, what other job titles (such as a data analyst), can be given to this type of job role? Thanks

A) Some companies that deal with research / analysis roles in marketing: Michael Page, Vertex Resourcing. Marketing Week and Marketing magazines sometimes have adverts. Titles: Insights Mgr / exec, Database Manager, Consumer Researcher etc.

What are "The Jobs which British people won't do"?

Q) I keep hearing about these jobs as a reason why we "need" immigrants. I live in a fairly poor area and I know a lot of unemployed white British people who would be happy to do ANY job. But whenever they apply for a job here are always lots of other applicants and they don't get chosen. I have seen people - well qualified people, being turned down for jobs which are actually BELOW their qualification levels - in fact I'm one of them! My boyfriend - a trained mechanic who can't get work as a mechanic as there are not enough jobs - even got turned down for a car valeting job because the interviewer just liked someone else more or decided they were more suitable. I have no idea. It was through no fault of his own! So I really don't beleive these "jobs noone else wants" exist and they are just a figment of the Left's imagination to justify the rampant immigration. As far as I know the only time we had this sort of full employment was back in the 1950s. Mark - your spiteful personal attack on me is pointless and uncalled for. Besides which, if you took your head out of your middle class arse you would see plenty of white British people doing those jobs you mentioned. My boyfriend currently works as a barman on minimum wage and he's a white Briton. He's also a trained mechanic but can't find a job in that field as there are not enough jobs. Go and kiss arse to the latest bunch of scroungers trying to extort money from this country. People like you are a disgrace to this country and the reason it has gone to the dogs. How dare you suggest all unemployed people are lazy - I can introduce you to plenty of unemployed white British who would punch your weasley face in should you suggest such a thing as they are desperate to get back to work. Typical leftie bullshit. No wonder this country has gone to hell. OH and my BF can't "screw my sister" as I don't have one. He works 50 hours a week in a pub instead.

A) If that really is a question being asked, that's really funny because that's the same crap being tried over here in the US. Ah playbook politics at it's finest.

Jobs???????????

Q) So Im applying for a job at this supermarket which is always looking for people and everybody gets jobs there. Two of my friends in the last 2 weeks got jobs. And theyre getting pretty desperate because theyre looking for temporary workers if theres a strike. I applied online and last time they called me (i got talked out of going to the interview.) without me calling them. I dont know if i should call them this time. My friend always said i should call but i worry about coming across as pushy. And should I Iapply at the temp workers job fair too? IOr should I just stay wiith my online app? And should I call?

A) Well in my opinion you should probably go and do an interview. A lot of employers that sit face to face with possible employees like to see the attitude of the person. Sometimes pushy is a good thing showing that things will get done when you are put on a task

Jobs??????

Q) I really need a job. Im 13 years old and looking for work. There is no standard jobs like shop-rite of course for a 13 yr old, but any ideas that I can make some cash?

A) Well first of all I give you credit for being ambitious at age 13! Taking responsiblity to make your own money at 13 and not rely on your parents is a rare trait that I wish I had at your age. Well a lot of teenagers to make cash will give a car wash, sell lemmonade, sell cookies, sell coupons, when it gets warmer out mow the lawn for a neighbor, watch a neighbors kids, do house cleaning for a neighbor or friend, I have even see kids make money off of selling collectable cards to their friends. Making a lot of money at your age can be tough, but it still can be done if you work hard.

Jobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Q) I need to find a job in teh hazleton area, if anyone is from around there, or knows of any jobs in taht area it would be awsome!!!! thanks!!!!

A) While you are looking for a job you can earn extra money using your computer and I have found these websites that actually work. They are all free to join and you don’t have to pay to get the information that you need, and after you get yours up and going you can refer other people and they pay you for your referrals. JoBS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Q) i live in houston, texas..and i really need an after-school/weekend job in order to have some money... there's this trip to costa rica i really want to go to..but i need to save up atleast half of the $1800 needed...by May. the problem is, im only 14..anyone know any jobs i might be able to apply to? (NOT BABYSITTING !!)

A) Stay away from Cash Create and other survey Web sites! It's a waste of time and will cause you unhappiness. If you choose to get suckered in and sign up to take surveys and receive free trials considered you were warned. The minute you give them your credit card and personal information you have now opened your computer to unwanted cookies on your hard drive, annoying pop-up windows and if you are on a PC you open your computer to viruses that can wipe you out.

Jobs??????

Q) Does anyone know of any good jobs in Hazleton PA, I have tried monster, hot jobs, usajobs, pacareerlink, i am totally out of idea on what to do, if you have any idea please answer this question thanks! I am looking for something in calerical work, and/or food serivce /retail

A) Don't give up, just try new resources! Check the jobs and "gigs" (part time and/or short term jobs) in the local version of Craig's List (http://www.craigslist.org) that's most appropriate for Hazleton, PA. I don't know which one that is, because there are several, but you can find it here - http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/us/pa - which lists 9 Pennsylvania sites. Check Indeed.com which probably has the most jobs listed because it collects them from job sites, employers, etc. And check the Pennsylvania page of Job-Hunt.org - http://www.job-hunt.org/jobs/pennsylvania.shtml - for links to local employers including your town government and local school district, as well as local newspaper classifieds online. Good luck!

Jobs??????

Q) Ok I'm 13 will be 14 in Nov. So in 2 yrs. i'll be 16, and have my learners permit, so I was thinking of saving 4 A car. And I was wondering if there any jobs A 14yr old can get 2 start saving???? So any advice any1 could give me would be appriciated! 'cause I want A Range Rover!

A) Leroy L's and Money's answers above are scams. You don't make money surfing the web. Also, since you you said you are not old enough to enter into contracts with them, and they still contacted you about it, that is more proof they are out to scam you. At 13, your options are very limited. Depending upon where you live and the time of year, you could baby sit, shovel snow, mow yards, clean houses, walk pets, etc.

jobs?????????????

Q) are there any jobs that 14 year old girls can get? besides babysitting

A) Teenage jobs are best done through your local school, public library or church. You will be surprised at the job opportunities posted in your Church. They might be able to hook you up in summer type jobs like caddying in golf courses, day camps for kids, life guards in town pools, etc. Here are some job sites for teenagers and other useful information for teenagers. http://www.jobopenings.net/jobs.php?industry=summer http://jobsearch.about.com/od/teenstudentgrad/a/teenjobsites.htm How about going into business? If you have a skill that you can make money on why not? For example, if you are creative and good with your hands you can make something and sell it to your classmates, friends and relatives. Or you can buy things at discount and sell them at a profit. You can also wash cars and do odd jobs for your neighbors. When I was a kid a I shined shoes on weekends. Even if you don't make money, the experience would be well worth it. Go to these sites for more information on how to start a teen business. http://www.entrepreneur.com/startingabusiness/teenstartups/article158580.html http://studentcenter.ja.org/aspx/PlanBusiness/Stories.aspx http://smallbusiness.aol.com/features/teenbusiness Peace and blessings!
